Requirements

• •Android phone (Android 8+ recommended)
• •Registered account with admin approval
• •Phone charger — hosting and playback drain battery quickly
• •Landscape orientation for the best layout (rotate your phone)
• •Guests on the same Wi‑Fi or reachable join URL

Setup steps

1. 1

   Create your account

   Register at /register with your mobile number. Approval is handled by your venue admin.
2. 2

   Install the Join Sing It app

   The Android phone APK is coming soon. It uses the same Join Sing It host app as TV, tuned for handheld use.

   Package name: com.singit.tv

   Sign in and open the jukebox

   Launch the app, confirm your account is active, and the room screen opens with your QR code.

   Position your phone

   Prop the phone landscape so guests can see the queue and QR. Connect a Bluetooth speaker or cast to a nearby display if you have a larger audience.

   Guests scan and queue

   Friends scan the QR from their phones — they search songs, queue tracks, react, and send shout-outs while your phone plays each pick.

Installing the APK (when available)

   Download the APK

   Get the latest Join Sing It APK from the homepage download section or your admin.

   Allow installs from this source

   Android will prompt you to allow the browser or file manager to install unknown apps — confirm once.
3. 3

   Open Join Sing It

   Find the app in your launcher and sign in after your account is approved.

Download link coming soon — you can also host from your phone browser via web setup with no install.

Web host alternative (no install)

If you do not want to sideload an APK, open /host in Chrome on your Android phone. It works the same way — account gate, QR, queue, and playback — without installing anything. See the web setup guide for details.

Tips

• •Disable battery saver for Join Sing It during events — background limits can interrupt playback
• •Keep the screen on or reduce sleep timeout while hosting
• •Use Do Not Disturb so calls do not pause the party
• •For bigger crowds, mirror the phone to a TV with Chromecast or a USB-C to HDMI adapter
